The Publication

Exploring Interprofessional Collaboration & Ethical Leadership (2017) is a joint publication from the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE) and the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT). The document is a rich resource for early childhood educators, teachers and educational leaders as it provides “critical dialogue and reflection regarding interprofessional collaboration and ethical leadership”

I am proud to be a member of the C.E.C.E. who collaborated to bring R.E.C.E. voice to the research behind this publication, and some of the working documents within it.

Summer Institute

In 2014, I was invited to participate in a collaborative research project facilitated by the C.E.C.E. and the O.C.T.  The summer institute facilitated rich conversations and deep learning around the participant's professional narratives and ethical dilemmas within collaborative interprofessional partnerships.

Conceptual Framework

The most poignant take-away of the experience for me, was being a part of the organic process of co-constructing a conceptual framework for Interprofessional Collaboration and Ethical Leadership on (page 16), "Essential Dimensions of Interprofessional Collaboration Chart".  The result of which, became an incredible tool that I have found beneficial while reflecting on my own collaborative practice and next steps for growth.
